MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis man is facing charges including carjacking and armed robbery after allegedly stealing boxes of medicine from delivery drivers at two Memphis pharmacies.
One theft happened in November, the latest happened on Christmas Eve.
One suspect, 27-year-old Javorian Miller, is behind bars but another is still at large.

Memphis Police say security camera video shows one of two suspects stealing a cart loaded with seven totes of medicine, taken at gunpoint Nov 29 from a delivery truck driver outside Walgreens in the 46oo block of Summer Avenue.
MPD says Miller was one of the suspects. He has also been charged in a similar robbery Christmas Eve morning at the CVS pharmacy at Union and Cooper, where he and another suspect allegedly held up a delivery truck driver and made off with a van full of thousands of dollars worth of pharmaceuticals.

Apparently suspects did not know one of the boxes of pharmaceuticals had an air tag attached to it. That air tag led police to an address on Nellie Road in Whitehaven.
When police got there they saw two suspects, one of them Miller, unloading boxes of pharmaceuticals from two separate vehicles. They nabbed Miller but the other suspect ran into the house and escaped through an upstairs window.
"They was all over behind the church over there in the field, and they was looking, had the dogs out," said Athaal Bowers, who lives near the Nellie Road address. He says it's time to get serious about crime.
"They're either going to have to keep them in jail a long time, no bonds, like they used to do when we was growing up. You got in trouble you had to go either Army or the jail," he said.
