"Sometimes the blood supply dips during the holidays as people are busy, but it's really important as the need for blood doesn't take a holiday," Community Blood Center President and CEO John Hagins said. "I think it's wonderful that people are taking the time out the day after Christmas to come out and support."
Hagins added that they expected around 160 people or more to be in attendance and "give the gift of life."
