EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) El Paso arrested two Mexican nationals and a U.S. citizen for human smuggling, the department said on Thursday, Dec. 25.
According to HSI, the trio allegedly smuggled and transported a female who was called "an undocumented citizen," who later died from health issues on Oct. 13. No age was given on the female who died.
In addition, HSI said one of the two Mexican nationals allegedly managed multiple stash houses and is linked to the death of the female.
No other information was immediately released, but we are working to find out more.
