(CNN)– The FDA says a recall of organic eggs sold at Costco is now classified at the highest risk level for potential salmonella contamination.
That means there is a reasonable probability that a recalled product “will cause serious adverse health consequences or death”.
The 24 count packages of organic pasture raised eggs were sold under the Kirkland Signature Brand.
They have a use by date of January 6.
So far, there are no reports of anyone getting sick.
People who may have the eggs should either throw them out or return them to the store for a refund.
