Man arrested on Christmas after police chase in Louisiana

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) - A man is in custody after he refused to pull over for Shreveport police on Christmas day.
The chase began just after 8:00 p.m. Officers were conducting a traffic stop at Grove Avenue and Greenwood Road when the vehicle's driver did not pull over. A pursuit ensued, and officers chased the vehicle through Shreveport.
While in pursuit, Shreveport police learned that the vehicle had been stolen.
The chase ended when the vehicle flipped, striking street signs and a gas line, at the intersection of San Jacinto Avenue and Sumner Street.
No injuries were reported.
Srderrick Wilson faces charges that include illegal possession of stolen things, flight from an officer, possession of narcotics, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and illegal carrying of weapons.
