DELANO, Calif. (KGET) -- The reward for information leading to the arrest of an escaped prisoner in Delano has increased. Anyone who calls the U.S. Marshals with information on Cesar Hernandez can now get $30,000, after the reward was increased by $5,000. Hernandez has been on the run for about 3 weeks after escaping from CDCR officers Dec. 2. He was being transported to a Delano courthouse for charges of manufacturing a weapon and possessing drugs in prison. Convicted escaped murderer Cesar Hernandez was ‘given a key or made a handcuff key’: Sheriff Youngblood Hernandez was serving a sentence of 80 years to life for first degree murder.
