In seventh place, is a photo of the Wash Tub Fire that broke out in February captured by Rush Dudley. AFR said the laundromat on Central Ave. and 11th Street went up in flames after a small outside fire reached an electrical box on the side of the building causing it to explode.
AFR said the goal of the photo contest is to not celebrate tragedy but to recognize the work of the courageous men and women who respond to emergencies across the metro every day.
