Ohio Paws with Purpose announced their Valentines contest called “Cutest Furbaby Contest” will sonn be accepting entries. Local residents can submit a picture of their dog or cat in a Valentines themed photo for a chance to win, according to a news release. Two years ago, Ohio Paws held this contest and received many pet photos with their beloved dogs or cats dressed for the Valentines occasion. Furbaby parents included hearts, teddy bears, flowers, and props showing the love and happiness of Valentines Day, the release stated. This year, photos can be submitted to the Facebook event page “Cutest Furbaby Valentine” or emailed to [email protected]. The contest is open from Jan. 6 through Jan. 20 with winners being announced before Valentines day. There will be two dogs and two cats chosen by Ohio Paws with Purpose with the winners receiving a $50 pet store gift card each and certificate from Lake County, according to the release.
