Clovis police alerted to 'rosy red cheek' intruder entering homes

CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Clovis Police were notified by their dispatcher on Tuesday night of a familiar character with rosy red cheeks allegedly entering local residences.
The suspect was described as a 6-foot-tall male with a long white beard, rosy red cheeks, and a "round belly that shakes like a bowl full of jelly."
Police say he was last seen carrying a large bag full of unknown items and wearing a red and white hat, a red velvet jacket, and pants with trim.
"[The] suspect is entering residences virtually undetected, leaving behind packages under trees and stockings. The only items missing as he leaves are milk and cookies," the call continues.

Officers say the suspect has nine known accomplices, including: Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and Rudolph. They add that Rudolph has a glowing red nose.
In addition to the alleged breaking and entering, the suspect was seen traveling at a high rate of speed in a red convertible sleigh-like vehicle with a personalized license plate with the characters S-A-N-T-A-1.
