RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Capital City Kwanzaa Festival is returning to Richmond in late December. The festival, hosted by Elegba Folklore Society, will span from 1 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, Exhibit Hall B, located at 403 North 3rd Street in the city. According to organizers, the event will feature reggae band Burning Fire, African dance and music, funk music by Kia Bennett and information about African ancestry by Dr. Gina Paige. Tickets are $6 for advanced general admission or $7 at the door. Students ages 12 through 18 and seniors ages 65 and older can get tickets in advance for $5.
