Here's how to get half off admission to San Diegoarea museums in 2025

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Patrons can visit many of their favorite cultural sites for half off admission in February during San Diego Museum Month.
Museums are not the only places offering a 50% discount -- the participating sites also include aquariums, national monuments, cultural centers and more.

The museums in Balboa Park will be participating in the month-long promotion. They include the following:

Comic-Con Museum (discount may only be applied on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays)
Fleet Science Center
ICA Central
Japanese Friendship Garden
Marston House Museum & Gardens
Mingei International Museum
MOPA at SDMA
Museum of Us (Discount does not include California Tower tours or the Membership On Us enrollment)
San Diego Air & Space Museum
San Diego Automotive Museum
San Diego History Center
San Diego Model Railroad Museum
San Diego Museum of Art
San Diego Natural History Museum (Only printed passes will be accepted)

Numerous other museums throughout the county will also offer 50% admission, from the Arts District in Liberty Station to gardens and attractions in North and East counties as well as the South Bay. To check out the full list of participating locations, visit the San Diego Museum Council's website.
In order to get a free printed Museum Month pass, visit any of the 80 public libraries throughout San Diego County. Make sure to check the attraction for pass requirements as some may require either digital or printed passes only.
