SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- One person was killed in a crash near Golden Gate Park on Christmas Day, the San Francisco Fire Department confirmed. The crash happened at 3:53 p.m. near the area of 19th Avenue and Crossover Drive, right at the south edge of Golden Gate Park. One person was killed after a car crashed into a tree and caught on fire, SFFD said. There were no other people in the car. Due to the crash, southbound 19th Avenue is closed between Park Presidio and Crossover Drive.
