CABQ senior affairs department host Christmas luncheon

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque seniors celebrated Christmas with a special holiday meal at the Manzano Mesa Multi-Generational Center.
The Department of Senior Affairs hosts the luncheon every year, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Event coordinators say it's something seniors look forward to each year, and they always hope to provide a good experience.

"We want to provide a fun and safe place for everyone to go, especially our seniors. It's important for them to come and socialize," Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Center Manager Brittani Torres said.
The department says around 150 people attended, enjoying roast beef, potatoes and veggies.
