ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque seniors celebrated Christmas with a special holiday meal at the Manzano Mesa Multi-Generational Center. The Department of Senior Affairs hosts the luncheon every year, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Event coordinators say it's something seniors look forward to each year, and they always hope to provide a good experience. It's important for them to come and socialize," Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Center Manager Brittani Torres said. The department says around 150 people attended, enjoying roast beef, potatoes and veggies.
