Stay tuned. In the United States, both Christmas games will expire on Netflix three hours after the livestreams end under terms of the agreement between Netflix and the NFL. However, Netflix announced the Beyoncé Bowl will be available as a standalone special. Today was the first time one outlet has distributed an NFL game globally. Netflix made the games available in five languages — English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and German. As a caveat, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the NFL would not exclusively stream the Super Bowl, during his State of the League press conference at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas. “We’ll see the Super Bowl continue to be on the broadest possible platform, and I think we’ll continue to see the NFL on the broadest possible platform,” said Goodell.Chiefs blow by the SteelersKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes II speaks during Opening Night at Allegiant Stadium on February 5, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nestled at the confluence of the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio Rivers, the Chiefs delivered their best performance of the season. With the victory, the Chiefs will be the number one seed in the AFC and will have homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. “Getting the No. 1 seed is important,” Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes said after throwing for 320 yards and three touchdowns. “It’s like winning a playoff game.”During the game, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce passed Tony Gonzalez to become the franchise’s all time touchdown leader with 77. He also joined Gonzalez and former Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten as the only tight ends with 1,000 career receptions. As for the Steelers, they finish this stretch of games winless against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Baltimore Ravens and the aforementioned Steelers. Even though they have qualified for the playoffs, the Steelers will look to regain form in their final game of the season against the Tennessee Titans. Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson shine for the RavensDerrick Henry, Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens brought the energy to NRG Stadium. They trounced the Houston Texans 31-2 in a laugher in the second half of Netflix’s NFL Christmas Doubleheader. During the game, Jackson rushed for the most yards by a quarterback in NFL history, surpassing Michael Vick. Jackson had 87 yards rushing with about six minutes left in the third quarter to give him 6,110 yards, moving him past Vick. Jackson would finish the game with three total touchdowns (two passing, one rushing). Henry set the tone during the game with 147 yards on 20 carries. The Ravens amassed 251 rushing yards while keeping the ball for more than 35 minutes. “These guys took these three games in eleven days and just smashed it,” said Ravens head coach John Harbaugh. “I’m proud of these guys.”With today’s victory, coupled with the Steelers’ loss, the Ravens now lead the AFC North. A win against the Cleveland Browns will seal a division title and a home game for Baltimore. “We’re not done yet. We’ll need to be 1-and-Oh next week,” continued Harbaugh. “It will be for the AFC North crown. I think our team handled it the best and I’m proud of your guys.
