COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A 30-year-old man is dead after a Christmas morning shooting in North Linden. Columbus police say officers were called to the 1700 block of East Weber Road about 9:40 a.m. Wednesday and found Demetris Mitchell suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Mitchell was taken to a hospital in critical condition and pronounced dead just before 10:30 a.m. Police say a someone in a maroon Ford shot Mitchell before leaving the scene.
