WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Heads up -- Metro service changes for the holidays may affect your travel plans.
On Wednesday, Christmas Day, Metro said that it is offering a reduced Sunday service schedule with hours running from 7 a.m. to midnight.
Under the Sunday service schedule, Red Line trains will arrive every 10 minutes, while Green and Yellow line trains will arrive every eight minutes.
Blue, Orange and Silver line trains are running every 15 minutes in two segments due to construction. Shuttle buses are replacing train service for closed stations.

The next Tuesday (New Year's Eve), Metro will be offering regular weekday service with extended hours, running until 2 a.m.
On New Year's Day, Metro will be running on a Sunday service schedule.
