Body cam shows NY prison guards pummeled handcuffed inmate during fatal assault, investigator says

Utica, N.Y. — Several New York state prison guards held an inmate while they punched and kicked him in the groin and chest earlier this month at a Utica-area prison, according to a state investigator.The inmate was handcuffed during the assault and later manacled on his legs, the investigator said in court papers. At the end he appeared to only be in a shirt and underwear.
