SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - UPDATE 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, December 25, 2025: The Savannah Police Department is investigating a December 24 shooting in the 10,000block of Abercorn St. that left one adult male injured. Officers responded to the scene at around 6:45 p.m. based on a ShotSpotter report. Upontheir arrival, bystanders advised police that an adult male had been shot and was beingtransported to Memorial Health University Medical Center in a privately owned vehicle. It wasalso determined the victim’s car had been stolen from the scene. No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing. SPD announced in an X post that they responded to the 10,000 block of Abercorn St. One adult reportedly sustained injuries and self-transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
