VIDEO: Driver caught on camera crashing into Orange County mailbox

ORANGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Authorities are searching for the driver caught on camera crashing into and smashing an Orange County resident's mailbox on Saturday.
On Saturday, Dec. 21, a red sedan was driving on Pine Stake Road when it was caught on camera running off-road and hitting a black mailbox.
Its driver does not stop and, as it flees the scene, pieces of the mailbox can be seen flying out from under it and landing on the ground.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help in identifying car involved in this hit-and-run, pictured below in stills from surveillance cameras both at the scene and nearby. It was last seen moving north on Route 522.

Authorities added that the sedan should have noticeable damage to its front end.
