PETERSBURG, Va. (WAVY) -- Virginia State Police issued a senior alert Wednesday, for 89-year-old Richard Ervin Flowers, who was last seen on Dec. 24. VSP issued the alert on behalf of the Petersburg City Police Department, which said Mr. Flowers was last seen 5 p.m. Tuesday on Halifax Street. He is described as 6’0″, 182 pounds and bald with black eyes. He may be wearing a black thigh length coat, black shoes and a black ushanka. Mr. Flowers suffers from a cognitive impairment, so his disappearance poses a credible threat to his safety.
