Carrsville man arrested after vehicle chase with Currituck County Sheriff's Office

CURRITUCK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) -- The Currituck County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 32-year-old Carrsville man in connection to an overnight vehicle pursuit on Wednesday.
At around 12:40 a.m., the CCSO received a call from the Chesapeake Police Department about a vehicle pursuit heading into Currituck County from the state line.

A Currituck Deputy clocked the vehicle at 100 mph and attempted to stop it. Deputies pursued the vehicle that was driven by Brandon Wade, 32, and deployed the stop sticks around the Coinjock area.
Shortly after, the vehicle ran off the road and stopped. At the wreck scene, Wade gave up without incident.
Wade was charged by CCSO with Flee/elude arrest, Reckless driving, fail to maintain lane and speeding. He is currently in custody at the Currituck County Detention Center under $100,000 secured bond.
Virginia charges are pending.
