SLIDELL, La. (WGNO) — A man has been hospitalized following a shooting that happened at John Slidell Park on Tuesday, Dec. 24. According to the Slidell Police Department, the shooting was reported and officers responded just after 5 p.m. Former Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans employee accused of misrepresenting benefits On scene, they found a man, inside of a vehicle, who had been shot. Police say the shooting appears to be an isolated incident between the victim and the suspect, and not random. The man was taken to a nearby hospital and is currently in unknown condition.
