INDIANAPOLIS — Officers from the Indianapolis Metro Police Department responded to a report of a walk-in person shot who was transported to an area hospital on Wednesday. According to IMPD, police were called around 12:54 p.m. to a hospital on the 8600 block of Allisonville Road. A victim was found in critical condition and continues to stay in the hospital at this time. IMPD said they believe this shooting is connected to an incident that took place on Meadowlark Drive on Wednesday. A person has been detained and there is no outstanding threat to public safety, IMPD added. FOX59/CBS4 will provide further updates to this story as it develops
