(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) said a man found dead in the driveway of a home on Wednesday, Dec. 25 is being investigated as a homicide. According to PPD, on Wednesday, at around 7 a.m. officers were called to the 2600 block of Himes Avenue near Lake Minnequa about an unconscious person on the sidewalk. When police arrived they found a man dead in the driveway of a home. PPD said the death is being investigated as a homicide. The victim will be identified by the Pueblo County Coroner after appropriate notifications and determine the cause and manner of death. This marks the 19th homicide in Pueblo in 2024 and PPD said police are investigating suspicious deaths that happened in Sept. and Dec. that have not been determined to be homicides as of Dec. 25.
