PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Prince George's County police are investigating after a man died in a crash in Upper Marlboro early Christmas morning. According to the Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD), around 3:20 a.m., officers were called to the 12000 block of Duley Station Road, near Spring Water Lane for a single-vehicle crash. PHOTOS: Fire breaks out at 4-story apartment building in Northwest DC Upon arrival, officers located the driver, a man, inside his vehicle. He died at the scene. PGPD said their preliminary investigation revealed the man was driving south on Duley Station Road when he lost control and crashed into a tree. In an update Wednesday afternoon, police identified the driver as 27-year-old Darin Burns Jr. of Upper Marlboro. Anyone with additional information or who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422.
