(KRON) -- In what has been described as a "paw-sitive" act, a dog that was left in a car for three days was rescued by Marin County Sheriff's Office deputies on Christmas Eve. Deputies teamed up with humane officers to rescue the poor pooch. Muni to offer free rides on New Year’s Eve "Together, we're spreading holiday cheer, one wag at a time!" the sheriff's office wrote on Facebook. "Let's make the world a little brighter, one paw-sitive act at a time!" In a photo accompanying the post, the dog appeared to be healthy and happy to be enjoying a bowl of water after being freed from its car confinement. There was no immediate word on who left the dog in the car or if any charges were filed against them.
