(KRON) -- A fire that broke out overnight Wednesday at an Oakland four-story apartment building was contained to a single unit, according to the Oakland Fire Department. The fire was under control 20 minutes after the initial call. Oakland Fire crews responded at 12:04 a.m. to the 2800 block of High Street for a report of a fire inside one of the building’s units. Arriving firefighters located a room and content fire and began to bring it under control. (KRON4) Additional crews checked adjacent units for possible fire spread. The blaze was ultimately contained to the single unit and brought under control at 12:24 a.m., OFD said. There were no reports of injuries to the residents or firefighters. The number of people displaced by the fire was not immediately available. Burglars ram San Leandro GameStop, steal video game consoles: police Pacific Gas and Electric Company crews were notified of the incident, fire officials said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
