CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) -- Christmas morning started chilly across the Lowcountry, but temperatures are expected to climb through the afternoon. Most areas saw temperatures dip into the 30s in the morning, but highs are expected to climb into the mid-50s to low-60s by mid-afternoon. Breezy conditions and pockets of rain cleared overnight, leaving mostly sunny skies on tap for Wednesday. Similar conditions are expected to continue through Thursday. Clouds will increase Friday into the weekend, with a chance of rain returning.
