Anderson Co. mother accused of kidnapping daughters arrested

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - The Anderson County Sheriff's Office announced early Christmas morning that a mother is in custody for reportedly kidnapping her daughters.
Deputies said a 10-year-old and 2-year-old were allegedly taken by their mother Shenekqua Antwinette Miller the night of Christmas Eve from an address on Ki Ki Ce Ce Lane in Anderson.
It was reported that Miller took off on foot with the children.
Around 6 a.m., the sheriff's office said that both girls were located and Miller was arrested.
She is facing three charges of unlawfully placing a child at risk of or causing harm or willfully abandoning the child according to officials.
Miller remains in custody at the Anderson County Detention Center.
The case remains under investigation by the ACSO.
