COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Firefighters rescued multiple dogs from a burning house early Christmas morning in an east Columbus neighborhood.
A spokesperson with Columbus fire said the fire was at a three-story residential unit on Winner Avenue in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville area just after 12:45 a.m. The fire started on the second/third floor unit and was extinguished.

No one was injured in the fire and authorities rescued five dogs from inside the house. The Columbus Division of Fire is continuing to investigate.
