Two arrested at Anne Arundel County businesses for drug, gun charges

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- On Monday, officers in Anne Arundel County arrested two people at different businesses.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department (AACPD) said that officers first responded to the Red Roof Inn on Riva Road in Annapolis for a disturbance. Officers saw 39-year-old Hiram Omar Colon Ramos with a gun and saw "suspected controlled dangerous substances in the hotel room."

AACPD said that Ramos was not allowed to possess firearms.
Police arrested and charged him, and seized a handgun, nine rounds of ammunition, around 44 grams of suspected cocaine and around 853 grams of suspected marijuana.
Officers then responded to the El Norteno Grill on Crain Highway North in Glen Burnie. Police said that 46-year-old Jose Andres Gonzalez had entered the restaurant and shown a gun.
Nobody was injured.
Police seized a gun from Gonzalez's car and arrested and charged him.
