Here's where you can recycle your Christmas tree for free in Visalia

VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) — Seven locations throughout the City of Visalia will allow anyone to drop off their Christmas trees once they are done with them to be recycled for free at select drop-off areas.
The City of Visalia announced on social media that the drop-off would go from Thursday, Dec. 26 to Sunday, Jan. 5 and that all the drop off locations would be open 24/7.
The locations are:
Food 4 Less at 2025 N. Dinuba Blvd.
Neighborhood Church at 5505 W. Riggin Ave.
Parkside Chapel at 3200 E. Walnut Ave.
Save Mart at Akers Street and Goshen Avenue, behind the shopping center
Sequoia Mall, behind Hobby Lobby
Sierra Baptist Church at 1437 E. Walnut Ave.
St. Johns and Lovers Lane parking lot at East St. Johns Parkway
According to officials, for trees to be eligible for recycling all ornaments and decorations must be removed including, tinsel, lights and stands.
Officials say residents will not only be keeping trees out of the trash by using the drop-off service, but they will also help turn all the trees received into compost.
