Holiday shoppers rush to find last minute gifts

HONOLULU (KHON2) -- Businesses were packed with shoppers grabbing last-minute gifts on Christmas Eve.

"It's been booming today. We're in a constant flow of people coming in last minute shopping and we have a whole bunch of new products coming in for the last minute stocking stuffers and Christmas presents," stated Maya Jalomo, Manuhealii Sales Associate.
Over at the Pearlridge Center, businesses were busy filling rush orders.

"All of the jewelry pieces can be customized because they're handmade," said Nikki Fujii, Sales Associate for Royal Hawaiian Heritage Jewelry. "We do have those rush charge options to be able to get them turned around quicker."
Stores like Animation Magic said the holidays are the busiest time of year. It's a popular spot for shoppers looking for small stocking stuffers and knick-knacks.

"We got all types of toys for all different ages," stated Kendyl Gray, daughter of Animation Magic's owner. "We've got Tokidoki, we got Sanrio, we have Pokemon cards, we have anime, and we also have Minifigures."
