1 man hurt after losing control, driving off Transmountain

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- A man suffered what are being called minor injuries when he he lost control of his vehicle and drove off the mountainside on Transmountain Road on Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 24, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office said.
The crash happened at about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday along at Mile Marker 19 on Loop 375 East (Transmountain), the Sheriff's Office said.
Witnesses reported that a single vehicle had lost control and drove off the mountainside.
When deputies and firefighters from the West Valley Fire Department arrived, they found an adult male, no age given, outside the vehicle with minor injuries.
Family members arrived on the scene to meet with first responders. The driver was treated for his injuries and taken to a local hospital by family for further medical evaluation.
