13 vehicles broken into during St. Joseph's mass, 1 stolen

PENFIELD, N.Y. (WROC) – Thirteen vehicles were broken into during Christmas Eve Mass Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, deputies said.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to check out the break ins around 3:30 p.m. On scene, deputies discovered that 13 vehicles had their windows smashed, with items inside taken. It happened sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
A silver 2019 Kia Sorento was also stolen, deputies announced. The vehicle had a Virginia license plate: XFH4706.

No suspect information is available. As the investigation continues, deputies asked anyone with information to call 911.
