Two arrested in connection with LaPlace double shooting investigation

LAPLACE, La. (WGNO) — Two men are in critical condition and two other men have been arrested after a shooting in LaPlace on Monday, Dec. 23.
The St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office reported that 22-year-old Marius White and 20-year-old Jaron Robinson allegedly shot each other after an argument in the 2100 block of Van Arpel Drive.
Former Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans employee accused of misrepresenting benefits
According to investigators, Robinson and 23-year-old Terrance James drove to LaPlace to meet White when he got into James' pickup truck. Robinson and White are accused of then exchanging gunfire inside the truck.
St. John Parish deputies reported that White and Robinson were taken to a medical facility in private cars.

Following interviews, deputies arrested James and 19-year-old Judah Coleman in connection with the case.
According to the sheriff's office, detectives found five "ghost guns" during the investigation.
Coleman faces two counts of unidentifiable firearm. James faces two counts of possession of a firearm/concealed weapon by a convicted felon and violation of probation/parole.
