ENFIELD, Conn. (WWLP) - The chase of a stolen vehicle Sunday evening came to an end when police dog Duke of the Enfield Police Department halted the escape of the suspect and allowed police to take him into custody.
Enfield police were sent to an alert of a stolen vehicle chase approaching the Connecticut state line and found the vehicle traveling south on Interstate 91. When officers signaled for the vehicle to stop, the driver did not comply. An officer used a Stinger tire deflation device to stop the vehicle, where it was disabled south of Exit 47E.
