Man facing firearm charges after alleged shots fired incident in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A man was arrested in Fall River this weekend after allegedly firing a gun into the air.
It was one of two alleged shooting incidents this past weekend, according to officials.
35-year-old Kevin Ramirez is facing charges following an incident where he allegedly shot a gun into the air.
Police said they received a report in the area for shots fired on Charles Street.
An officer was canvassing the area and while traveling on Woodman Street observed a male matching the description of the alleged shooter.
The Fall River Police Department detained the male and discovered that he was in possession of several firearms and ammunition.
He was taken into custody and is facing charges related to the incident.
