(Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN—(KFOR Dec. 24)—Lincoln Police are investigating a stabbing that took place at The People’s City Mission on Monday. 38 year old Steven Shiffermiller of Lincoln was arrested yesterday after a stabbing at the people’s city mission. LPD officers arrived at the mission and found a 34-year-old man with a non life threatening puncture wound to his upper chest. Police said Shiffermiller was yelling at the 34 year old that he would kill him and then stabbed him in the chest with a metal tire reamer. The 34 year old man was transported to a hospital for treatment. Shiffermiller was arrested at the scene for suspicion of second degree assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and terroristic threats.
