Nebraska Basketball Picks Up Its First Win at Hawai’i Since 1976

The Huskers 69-55 win moves the Big Red into the tournament’s championship game, which will be played on Christmas at 7:30 p.m. Nebraska will play Oregon State in the final on Christmas Day. Williams took over the game in the second half, making 4-of-5 shots from beyond the arc. The senior guard also connected on all eight free throw attempts. Gary, meanwhile, sparked a huge first-half rally for Nebraska (9-2), including the go-ahead 3-pointer. Gary finished 8-of-10 from the floor.
