LUMBERTON, N.C. (WBTW) -- An 18-year-old man wanted in connection with Friday's deadly shooting at a Walmart in Lumberton is being held on a $1 million bond after turning himself in on Monday.
Brian Campbell faces a charge of accessory after the fact in the killing of Brandy Nicole Olson, 42, who authorities said was fatally shot while standing in line at a bank inside the store. Campbell is in the Robeson County Detention Center.
Authorities are continuing to look for another suspect, 17-year-old Ezekiel Burden, who is facing first-degree murder and other charges.
Olson was shot multiple times during the incident at the Woodforest Bank branch, according to police, who said the suspects were “targeting” two people they knew. The shooting happened at about 3:45 p.m., and Olson was pronounced dead at UNC Health Southeastern.
