RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — To celebrate the season and spread some holiday cheer, nurses in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at UNC Health Rex in Raleigh and UNC Children's in Chapel Hill dressed their tiniest patients in festive costumes. What has become a holiday tradition, with the parent's permission, UNC Health officials dressed the babies in costumes such as St. Nick, tiny elves, candy canes, reindeer, the gingerbread man, presents and even a Christmas tree.
