Two 18yearolds hurt after truck crashes into a tree in Wisconsin

HILLSBORO, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in Wisconsin say two 18-year-olds were hurt Saturday morning after they crashed their truck into a tree.
According to a release from the Vernon County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded at 11:30 a.m. for reports of a single-vehicle crash on Lovers Lane in the town of Hillsboro.
Officials say 18-year-old Lewis E. Bontrager from rural Elroy lost control of his vehicle while attempting to navigate a corner and wound up leaving the roadway and crashing into a tree on the opposite side of the road.

Bontrager was hurt in the crash as was the passenger, 18-year-old Kailey A. Miller of rural Elroy, who needed to be extricated from the vehicle.
Both Bontrager and Miller were taken by ambulance to Gunderson St. Joseph's Hospital and Clinics where they were treated and have since been released.
Deputies are citing road conditions and speed to be contributing factors in the crash and an investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
