Rain & Storms Sunday
Discussion:
We’re kicking off a chilly start to Christmas Eve with temperatures in the 20s and 30s. A low off the Carolina coast is bringing some light showers through the eastern edge of the region. This will taper off near sunrise with clouds clearing through the morning. Highs will reach the mid 50s under sunny skies this afternoon. Christmas Eve night will be clear and cold with temperatures falling into the low 30s overnight. Christmas Day and the First Day of Hanukkah will be mild and dry with highs back in the mid 50s. Temps will warm into the low 60s this weekend after a warm front lifts across the region. Showers and a few storms return late in the weekend ahead of a cold front.
