BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A man from Rochester was struck by a vehicle Sunday night. One person has been charged in the hit-and-run near Highmark Stadium, according to Orchard Park police. The pedestrian was hit on Abbott Road following the Bills game. The driver, identified as 31-year-old Anthony Mayo of North Tonawanda, allegedly hit him with a grey Dodge pickup truck. Mayo is accused of fleeing when police tried to stop him but got stuck in traffic and was taken into custody. The victim, a 39-year-old man from Rochester, was transported to ECMC and is listed in stable condition. Deputies perform life-saving CPR at Bills game Mayo is charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a personal injury crash, and other vehicle and traffic violations. He was arraigned after refusing a breath test. He was released on his own recognizance.
