WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (WPRI) — Police have arrested a Raynham man in connection with a hit-and-run crash that happened in West Bridgewater last week.
West Bridgewater Police Chief Timothy Nixon said officers were called to the intersection of North Main and Matfield streets Friday afternoon following reports of a crash involving a motorcycle.

Investigators believe the motorcyclist was driving erratically and passing vehicles on North Main Street when it crashed into a truck turning off of Matfield Street.
The motorcyclist sped off without his passenger, who Nixon said was not wearing a helmet and suffered serious injuries.
Nixon said the motorcyclist, identified as 28-year-old Zachary Adomaitis, was taken into custody on Sunday and is facing numerous charges, including leaving the scene of an accident resulting in personal injury, reckless operation, and operating with a suspended license.
Adomaitis had cocaine on him at the time of his arrest, according to Nixon, so he has also been charged with drug possession.
Nixon said Adomaitis faced a judge Monday and was ordered held without bail.
