OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - One dental chain is making sure some people's smiles are so bright they could light up a Christmas Tree during it's annual holiday event.
"Since 1984, so this is the 40th year," said Dr. Kelli Prescott of Comfort Dental in Moore.

An amazing holiday tradition of paying it forward.
It's "Care Day" at the 140-comfort dental offices across the nation, including five in the metro.
On Northwest 59th and May, people started lining up early Monday morning, for free extractions, fillings, and cleanings. They weren't just dreaming of a white Christmas, but a sparkling and healthy one as well.
"We give free services to people that just don't really have insurance or just needing to come out and get a little bit of help," said Kayla Guido, a dental assistant.
This is Guido's fifth year to participate. The dental assistant said it helps eliminate a potential financial burden around the holidays for those who don't have dental insurance.
"A simple cleaning is still pretty pricey," said Guido.
"This is an expensive time of year anyway," said Dr. Prescott.
In Moore, this is Dr. Prescott's 8th Care Day. Her favorite gift to patients is relief.

"In my opinion, there's nothing worse than having a tooth ache," the dentist said. "A lot of patients are in pain when they come in, which I like because you're getting them out of pain right before the holidays. If you do an extraction, it's better to eat on Christmas day than on Christmas Eve.
Comfort Dental used to provide free services on Christmas Eve, then they changed it to the day before Christmas Eve.
