(MONTEZUMA COUNTY, Colo.) — A reward is being offered by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) for information leading to the arrest of a Native man who allegedly shot and killed a minor on the Ute Mountain Ute Reservation in southwest Colorado. According to the FBI, a $10,000 reward is offered to anyone who can provide information that leads to the arrest of 23-year-old Jeremiah Hight. Hight is wanted in connection to the Dec. 11 shooting death of a minor on the Ute Mountain Ute Reservation in the area of Towaoc. A federal arrest warrant has been issued for Hight for murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence. The FBI said Hight should be considered armed and dangerous. Courtesy: Federal Bureau of Investigation Hight is a Native man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 6' tall and weighs 400 pounds. The FBI said he has tattoos on his right legs, left arm, right shoulder, neck, and left shoulder. He has a pierced left ear and a scar on his chest. The FBI said Hight has ties to Monument Valley in the Four Corners area. Anyone with information on the homicide in Towaoc or Hight's whereabouts is asked to contact 1-800-CALL-FBI (800-255-5324) or make a report online at tips.fbi.gov.
