FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The final game day of the 2024 campaign for Fresno State football is here. The Bulldogs will be hitting the field Monday in the famous Idaho Potato Bowl against Northern Illinois, looking to close out the year with a win for the seniors, Fresno State's Football Interim Head Coach, Tim Skipper and this year's staff. "I'm coaching to win. You know that's the way I see it. We'll go through the situations and we'll play the situations that we get because every game comes down to situations," Skipper said. "But I'm an aggressive person by nature, but I'm not stupid by nature, so I'm going to try to be aggressive when we need to be and make smart decisions and go play. But I'm here for these guys and I want to give them the best opportunity to win." Fresno State's Senior Offensive Lineman, Mose Vavao says they will be making the best of their final games. "It's definitely been crazy these past couple of weeks just dealing with how college football's been working. But I think it's a little different because we're seniors right now. So at the end of the day, we have our last games in college football, so why not make the best of it, you know? "  Kickoff is set for 11:30 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. Yourcentralvalley.com will bring highlights, post-game reactions, and much more on Monday night from Boise.
