What We’re Tracking Mostly cloudy tonight Rain South on Tuesday Mild for Christmas Eve/Day A few clouds are breaking apart from the south, likely leading to a beautiful sunset this evening. The clouds will linger into the night with light northerly winds. Temperatures are expected to hover near freezing, dipping into the lower 30s overnight. Rain chances look to hold off until Tuesday. Our next system looks to begin pushing in from the south during the early hours of Tuesday. Rain tracking along and south of I-35 through Christmas Eve night before clearing out just in time for Christmas Day. Although, most models are now trending further south. No significant impacts are expected for holiday travel with this system. Temperatures will remain in the upper 40s for afternoon highs, during the holiday. There is a possibility we see another chance for rain on Thursday, but we should manage to hold on to the mild temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s through the end of the week.
